Can I process externally hosted assets with DAM?

Yes, you can.

Filerobot DAM is an AI-powered platform with built-in image and video optimization tools, designed to store, organize, and accelerate media galleries online. You can also deliver externally hosted assets, which will be cached in the CDN and processed by our resizing servers.

To use externally hosted file paths, append the origin URL after token.filerobot.com or your CNAME. Ensure the URL starts with https:// or http://

https://token.filerobot.com/http://sample.li/bag.jpg

You can restrict access to specific domains using Domain Whitelisting. For details, refer to the Documentation.

Note: The first time an asset is loaded, it may take longer because the connection to the origin server must be established, the asset downloaded, resized, and then delivered.
