Where and how are my images stored and cached?

Cloudimage

Cloudimage is not an image hosting solution, meaning that you cannot "upload" your images into Cloudimage and host your origin images with us. If you are interested in uploading, organizing, and managing your images and all other media assets in a central media hub, our Digital Management solution Filerobot is made for you.

Cloudimage acts as an image proxy and operates as follows:

The Cloudimage Shield is a high-performance storage infrastructure caching your images in order to reduce requests to your origin storage (and save traffic costs) and speed up the process of subsequent transformations to deliver new image formats to your end users.
