Where and how are my images stored and cached?

CloudImage / DMO

CloudImage / DMO is a complete image optimization and delivery solution that includes cloud storage, allowing you to store your origin images directly inside the CloudImage Console. However, If you need a dedicated and separate solution for asset management, DAM is the recommended option.

You can upload, organize, and manage your assets within CloudImage’s own storage solution or continue using Cloudimage as a proxy for external storage (S3, Azure Blob, GCS, HTTPS origin).

CloudImage Storage(Library) solution :

CloudImage provides storage in the CloudImage Console under the Library section.
You can upload images, organize them into folders, and immediately reference them in CloudImage URLs, no external bucket required.

Please note CloudImage continues to support proxy mode if you prefer to store your assets elsewhere.

The Cloudimage / DMO Shield is a high-performance storage infrastructure caching your images in order to reduce requests to your origin storage (and save traffic costs) and speed up the process of subsequent transformations to deliver new image formats to your end users.
