How to Capture a HAR(HTTP Archive) file using DevTool in your browser ?

A HAR (HTTP Archive) file captures your browser's complete network activity, including all HTTP requests, responses, headers, and loading times. When you experience technical issues, a HAR file helps our support team diagnose the problem by revealing exactly what happened behind the scenes in your browser.

Steps to capture HAR file from your browser:

Step 1 : Open your browser DevTool, press F12 or Ctrl + Shift + I (for Windows) / Cmd + Option + I (for Mac) or right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect as shown in the picture below :

Step 2 : Click on Network-Tab, before recording, enable Disable cache and Preserve log by clicking the icons ✅ as shown in the picture below. Then, ensure the red record button (🔴) is active. If it's not recording, click the button or press Ctrl+E to start capturing network activity.

Step 3 : Do the exact steps that caused the issue (suppose, i am receiving 404 file not found issue, i will do all the steps to reproduce it). Similarly in your case, do the exact steps that was causing error. The network tab will record all requests.

Step 4 : Save the HAR file, right-click anywhere in the list of requests, select "save all as HAR with content" and save the file to your computer, or simply click on the download ⬇️ icon as shown in the picture.

Step 5 : Send the captured HAR file to our team for further inspection. Meanwhile, please sit tight, we’re on it and will get this sorted as quickly as possible.
