In the Cloudimage Admin panel, you can set up Storage aliases for your own private S3 storage.
You must select Connect External Storage: from the menu Settings -> Storage.
Then select Own HTTP-Based Storage:
You must enter in the corresponding values - Image folder base path and Cloudimage Alias - in the Pop up screen.
Example:
If your S3 bucket is located on address https://mystorage.website.com then:
-
-
- Image folder base path = https://mystorage.website.com
- Cloudimage alias - you may choose whatever name you want, but do not forget to prefix and suffix it with double underscores = __myalias__
-
You can also add authentication if your storage system requires it.
Using the "+" button, you can create more Storage aliases.
After completion of this step, press Save. The configuration takes 1-2 minutes to be deployed to our servers.
Now, if the original image is located on https://mystorage.website.com/image.jpg ,
You can use the following Cloudimage URL: https://token.cloudimg.io/__myalias__/image.jpg
In case that the Cloudimage Domain Whitelisting is enabled, please do not forget that the new Storage alias needs to be whitelisted too (section MANAGE -> page Image Settings -> tab DOMAINS):
Please keep in mind that all aliases for your account must be unique; aliases created in the Storage area cannot be used in the alias section.
